The CRT meets on the 3rd Wednesday of every month from 11:30 AM-1:00 PM at KCPD East Patrol Community Room (2640 Prospect). All interested in community safety issues are welcome to attend.   

A cross-sector collaboration of community leaders, social services providers, and law enforcement formed to jointly identify and solve community safety issues along the Prospect Corridor from 25th to 39th Street. CRT works to reduce crime, build collective efficacy, and stimulate development along the Prospect Corridor in Kansas City, Missouri. 

Starting in 2015 out of the Byrne Criminal Justice Innovation (BCJI) grant administered by the U.S. Department of Justice, the CRT identified 3 main areas to focus its work: 

1) Vacant properties (blight and neglect)

2) Beautification (redevelopment)

3) Jobs and Business (reinvestment)
